MEN’S SOCIETY

It was in the fall of 1950 during a dance sponsored by the Trinity Guild when a group of young men felt the need for an organization of men to get involved with the activities of our church. In November of that year, under the able leadership of Tigran Isaacs, several men were called upon to organize such a group. Mr. Isaacs was elected as its first president.

With the dedication to serve the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, promoting the cultivation of Christian life and brotherly conduct among its members, the Holy Trinity Men’s Society was chartered in January 1951. A number of charter members still attend and serve within this organization which meets every second Wednesday of the month.

The major fundraiser event for the Men’s Society is the Annual Grape Blessing Festival that is held in August. They also sponsor a pancake breakfast for all Sunday school students and church members every Palm Sunday. The Men’s Society is also always willing to assist in other special functions such as various dinner meetings, memorial lunches, the annual food bazaar, the annual dinner and any other function in which the church is involved.

Throughout the years, many of its members have served on the Board of Trustees and as Delegates. Its present membership is now over 50 and is always open to new members.
